I was just wondering how long these things actually last? My current sump is about 9 years old and was custom built. Your input is appreciated.

I had an acrylic by sea clear I bought from barrier reef in Boca that was 10+ years old and worked great. Never leaked or bowed. Only reason I switched was I went to an eshopps because I needed a larger sump when I went from 90 to 180. IMO if it ain't broke no need to fix it.

Mine is 8-9 years old on my 125. So I am in the same boat as you. Although mine is a manufactured one, if that makes a difference.

My acrylic sump is so old...........

there was no such thing as a V8 engines when it was built.

How was that one? Isn't this a one liner joke thread?

    I couldn't resist Vinny

Thanks everyone for the input. I am a worry wart so I will probably replace it and go in sump with my return this time. I was really just curious as to whether I should consider using my old one again.
