Hi all this post Will be picture intensive so hold on dailup guys :).

Ok I just got an old ballast for free I mean its old but was used for only couple of weeks till it started to burn.
this ballast is for 2 175W MH bulbs :). I opened it up hoping to see whats wrong with it and i found it. This looks like the this is 2 separate ballasts in one case look at the pic. and I saw the one of them burned on the side (second pic) which means I will have to replace one of them If I want 2 bulbs to work. I will go on in the next post keep on reading. ;D

Ok I have already 1 250W NH on one side (see the pic)
Now should I replace the one ballast and put additional 2 bulbs in there. Or is it possible for me to just get rid of the bad one and use one ballast for one bulb?
The only problem would be the wiring as you see on the 4th pic. This is more of an electrical question but please help me do you think that they will work as separate ballasts?

Wow. Is it possible to fire up the good ballast now and test it?

Have you plugged those numbers on the label that's on the ballast into Google to see how much a replacement would be?

(By the way, when attaching pics, please keep the widths to 6 inches or less, it blows out the browser for me at home, but works on the one at work, it's strange!)
