So I recently found a buddy that has about 15-25 small semi picasso/picasso clowns that he does not want. ;D I was going to take them from him and try to sell them at a reasonable price, but know nothing about how to do that.

How would I go about selling them? What would be a fair price for them? How would I ship if someone were to purchase outside of Idaho?

Thanks to anyone in advance that can lend some advice to me.

I have attached a picture, you can tell that they are very young, as they have no black markings yet, but you can also tell that some of them exhibit the semi picasso/picasso markings. It is not the greatest pic in the world, it is from my phone and the fish were very active!

How did he come about these fish? If they are actually ORA clowns, then the going rate is about $120 for a Grade A picasso and about $60 for a Grade B. If they are not ORA, then depending on the markings, $25-40 each, but those prices may be hight. Also, watch for selling them as Picasso clowns as I'm sure ORA has copyrighted that name.

I am honestly not sure how he came about them, but they do exhibit the markings of the grade B's. What would you suggest then for selling? He is trying to get me to buy them at 9.99 per fish.

    On the shipping..
Overnight in a styrofoam box that has something like foam peanuts to help keep the bag upright. Heat pack taped to underside of lid..if it's real cold tape one to the inside bottom as well but make sure to wrap them in paper towel or newspaper. Double bag the fish. The bag with the fish should be about 3/4 full of water and if you can add a tablet of Bait Buddie to the water in the bag. Make sure to mark the outside of the box with fragile, live animals, and this end up. Charge for the box and heat pack(s) when you figuire shipping.

If you still have 4 of them in a month I'll take them;D

Thanks for the input. Anyone have a fair asking price for what these should go for? I don't want to rape people on prices, because I hate it when people do that to me!

I think about 40-50 bucks for the ones that look semi-picasso. The ones that are very fancy, I don't think 80-100 is too outrageous. Those prices are just based on what I've seen and paid. My two ORA Picassos were 200 bucks, and I bought a semi picasso (not ORA) that died during shipping, which was 50 bucks.

Oh also, based on the research I did before buying mine, the price depends on the white markings and if they touch or not. Grade A, are when all the white "lines" merge and touch one another. Grade B is when two are touching, etc.
