How should I transfer a sick fish to a quarantine tank? Should i put him in a bag and acclimate him, or just net him and make the transfer quick?

My params should be very similar; although i don't know if the pH's are exactly the same.

I would say it depends on how sick. If it is very sick, you probably shouldn't acclimate the fish. Some may say you should, but in my experience it is more stressful to be in a bag and caught then to just being placed in. (This is of course within reason, try to make sure the parameters are close as possible, particularly temperature.) If not so sick, then I would acclimate the fish for a short time.

Depends on your QT setup, mine is an empty 20g long that I keep in the closet with a power filter for a 60g on it. If i need it I pull it out, rinse it with RO, then shutdown the main tank, pull water out of it and put that in the QT tank with a heater and turn on the filter, then I put the fish in, I'll usually pull out a small piece of LR from the tank as well just to give them something to hide around.
