Living in Alaska has some big downsides when it comes to finding a solid place to buy lots of cool looking corals. I don't have any corals in my tank as of now but i'm looking to add some very soon. If i order a bunch of different easy corals at the same time online i can save money on shipping cost but i'm worried how it will effect my tank by adding so many at one time. Any thoughts on how i can make this work or corals for beginners would be greatly appreciated. My tank is only 30 gallons so water can change fast! Thanks in advance!

Corals won't have a bio load as fish would. There would be some but nothing significant. How many you plan on adding?

I agree. As long as the tank is cycled, water quality and parameters in line you can add as many corals as you want.

Yay! On another note how long can corals survive if for some reason the overnight shipping fails?

In Alaska exposed to the elements or driving around in a cold delivery truck not long. Let the shipper know that he may have to add more warm packs. I loss more frags shipping in cold than shipping during the heat of AZ.

I agree with Corailline, I would ask them to either add more heat packs, or add longer lasting ones. I also agree that your tank should be fine for a bunch of corals, as long as your tank is ready for them :)

    Wait, what?
