LOL not when you're talking a cup of water at a time.

A 10% change would be about 1.7 pints of water.

If you're gonna add corals though, you're gonna want more water movement than an airstone!

thought you were getting a ro/di unit?

better get a heater and thermometer for that lil guy!

i dont know, on a small tank like that a 2 gallon i know the airstones in mine create a ton of movement, i have to tie a knot in the tube to make it so my seahorses dont fly around in the tank.

yeah. i'd read some threads before starting this tank! nano's seem like a pain! with that little amount of water, things can go south quick!IMO! i guess it depends on what you wanna keep in it! But the maintenance on my 55 is enough for me!

I had a 5 gallon for about 2 1/2 years with a few small corals and a fish, and it was a pain in the a55 to keep water right/algae etc! Finicky

those are seahorses, he's talking about corals, an airstone just doesn't seem like its gonna provide the right amount of current for most corals! plus i hate how much salt they kick up outta the tank!

Why would you ever recommend against adding to the total water volume? That doesn't sound right to me. A HOB filter has many benefits to any set up.
