well, i want to catch my koran angel.. but i dont want to destroy my scape..

as soon as the net hits the water, he dives into the rocks and never comes out. it is next to impossible to get him out of the caves.

anyone has any ideas that doesnt involve me buying something?

    suggestions?

every fish that I have caught has been with the inverted bottle trick: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/fish_trap.php. I have caught a flame angel, christmas wrasse, yellowtail damsel (multiple times even though I didn't want him), six line wrasse, and many more.

I use a Juicy Juice bottle, since it has a wider spout. I baster some mysis or brine shrimp into the bottle and just wait. I think the longest I waited was maybe 30 mins to catch my flame.

    Here's the bottle I use:

    Good luck!

+1 the juicy juice bottle is a great idea, I have had a lot of luck with 2 liter bottles of soda, but if you use the bigger bottle you should be good

Juicy Juice is too expensive. go to dolla store and get their cheap orange soda. like $1.00 or so and pour that down the drain
