I've had a blue lobster (approx 4 1/2 in.) i've wanted out of a tank of mine for a while now.
He's slowly been eating soft corals when he hasn't been regularly fed....
Today was the final straw, he ate both my 6 line wrasse and a clown goby over-night.
I've got a lot of LR and don't want to move much of it since there's quite a bit of coral attached to it.

How should i go about catching this guy with out breaking down my entire tank?
Anyone know if they make small traps for this kind of situation?

    Thanks.

I've never delt with lobsters before... Does it come out of the LR or is it always hiding?

    .

he is pretty cryptic. He will come out during feedings but only briefly.

my current plan in the works is to lure him out with a peice of meat tied to a string, wait untill he grabs it with a claw and hope that i can drag him out far enough to net him quickly.

Try leaving a net in your tank for a few days to get him used to it. Place food in the net every day till you catch it eating the food and pull the net out.
    Good Luck!
