    I have 5 peppermint shrimp in my tank from a aiptasia outbreak a couple months ago and now they are eating all my pods so i want to remove them any ideas

    If you can corner them away from corals and other sessile inverts and squirt them with a turkey baster full of RO/DI FRESHwater, that will shock them long enough to net them out.

    They will be attracted to nori on a clip after lights out.Place it near the sandbed in an area big enough to sneak your net in behind them,when frightened they always dart upward and backward.This worked for me,good hunting!

    AHAHAHAHA the age old struggle! I had a heck of a time trying to get mine out when I moved the last time.

    Another option that no one mentioned is get a clear soda bottle with the label removed and no glue residue. Then cut the large end off, so you have the top 4/5 of the bottle. Place the bottle in an open area of the tank and place food at the back of it. When the shrimp goes in and is eating the food, place a net or other object against the open end and you've got em!
