Bought my first skimmer this evening for a heck of a deal! Everything is pretty clean except the tube that goes from the maxijet to the bottom of the base. How can I clean that?

I clean my tube with my brush i got for my canisters tubing. its got like a little bristle brush thing on the end and its on a piece of flexible strong plastic that I just slide it back and forth through the tubing, It cleans it well.

The best way to clean a seaclone is by throwing it in the garbage. If you must keep it use the tube brushes to clean it. The are on a long flexible piece of metal.

My seaclone works great, Have yet to have an issue with it, I think its more user based..

I do admit you have to tweak the air valve quite a bit. But, that doesnt bother me.
