In my 125 reef tank I have 4 Koralia's 4. They run constantly for last 3 years. I think it is time for little maintnance:-[. How you guys clean them? I think I read something a while ago like to live them overnight in water and vinegar mixture. Is that correct? If it is water hot or could? and what proportions 1:1? Thanks.

yeah, i clean them about every 3 months with a viniger mix..

half water half vinegar is what i use..I leave it in there for about half the day or a little longer and take it out and that makes it look perfectly new...I do it to clean off the coraline also.

I usually do a 50/50 mix, then let them run for a couple of hours. Toothbrush the loose stuff off and rinse. Let then run longer if the corailline is not loose.

Vinegar and water fix FTW. It also works well to stop squeals too.
