I have made a diy grounding probe as it will take a month for my grounding probe to come... i have made it using a stainless steel spoon that has been tested in saltwater and has not rusted. the wire used is copper and is glued using hot glue gun..... here are the pics.....

well, I am not familiar with the electrical connection in India, but the bare end needs to connect with the ground socket.

I'm concerned about hot glue making a decent electrical connection. Soldering would be my first choice. Second choice would be to wrap the bare wire around the spoon and wrap electrical tape over that. You could put hot glue over the tape to waterproof it, but if any hot glue got between the wire and spoon, you're SOL.

forgot to mention, i had soldered first, then for water proofing it, i covered it with hot glue gun and also coz the wire used was copper.
