How to convince your wife/mom???

I asked my wife because she's never said a word about what money I spend on the tank. Her answer, "It is so hard to get you to something for you. I am just glad you are enjoying it."

I make the boss think she is picking out the coral and making me buy it.

 

I never have to do much convincing when it comes to the tank. When it comes to dumping cash into my vehicles however it takes a bit of explaining.

I once told her I'd start going to church with her. Hence, her forcing me into the confessional after the tank was already set up.

 

This is sometimes followed buy the "Im Sorry" but that is usually after she said a new fish huh "How Much Did That Cost"? Or the Wow honey that looks like a expensive skimmer How Much Was It?

 

I have been married for 17 years and the one thing that has always worked for me is one simple word..... Jewlery. Specifically DIAMONDS. But i also must say my wife lets me do what i want. Sometimes my "toys" get expensive (boats, drag racing dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and a 71 rag top Cuda with a 383 magnum) but some diomonds will always shift the conversation in my direction. If i spend on her what i want to spend i usually get my way. Fair is fair. For the youngins (men) let me tell you all something. You are not the boss of the house she is. And i have seen the bosses job and I do not want it. Remeber this simple rule young men If she is not happy you are not allowed to be happy, and if she is not happy long enough you will be unhappy also but you will only have half your stuff, LMAO.

 

I try to DIY as much as possible and when it comes to paying for things she likes that tank as much as me. I've been married 2yrs and still havent equalled the amount she used for the wedding so once I equal that amount almost everything should be bought

 

You are on thsame page as me! "Happy Wife Happy Life" That my moto! My wife has gone to the nationals with me when I raced atv mx she has endured all the toys, Motorcycles, cars, boats, etc and yet she melts when she gets jewlery! She said get me a tv in the bedroom and you can have a reef tank a 50in plasma later I got the 220. Happy wife happy life. take them on a trip once and a while also.
