how to detect ich?

    If you have live rock there's only one way to test for ich. Stick your finger in the water and then taste it, if it's salty, your aquarium has ich. ;)

    As far as the rubbing goes, it could be many things or nothing, just keep an eye on your clown.

    If everything that isn't a fish is left in a fallow tank and if the fish are treated, there doesn't need to be Ich in your tank.
