I just purchased ZoPlan and PhytoPlan for my inverts. The directions for the PytoPlan state to mix a 1/4 teaspoon per 30 gal. in a 1/2 liter of water daily. The ZoPlan states to mix a 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gal. in a cup of water daily. However, neither product suggests how to dispense the mixture. I just empty the mixture into my D/T. I'm just assuming that this is the correct way to use the products. I have read a number of posts on the forum where members state that they use these products. Can any of you share with me how you dispense these products into your tanks? straight into the tank or do you dose into the sump? Thank you.

I use ocean nutrition Nano Reef Coral Food which I assume is similar to ZoPlan and PhytoPlan. Here are the instructions for theirs...I typically spot feed my corals with this stuff and turn off all the power heads and pumps to give them the best chance to get the food.

Take a small (50ml) container, fill it half with water from the tank, add one spoonful of the powder and stir until there are no clumps. Disperse the solution in the water column or target feed with a pipette. Use one spoonful per 30 gallons (120 liter) tank size
