Ok so i have a 72 now and my potters angelfish died (RIP) so it leaves my 20 QT open. I was gonna do all softies so here is my plan

1 Empty out all the water scrub up the tank to try to remove the copper and get 10 gal of new saltwater and 10 from my tank.

2 Get new supplies like new filter (Emproer 280) maybe new heater maybe a power head and a new light new sand. I have a 15 watt now but i was gonna get one of those sucky likes from aqautraders and skimmer i really dont wanna buy one but say what you think.

3 take out all the rock of my tank with all the mushrooms on it then put them in the 20 (not alot of rock and maybe buy base rock to complete the 20 fullness)

4 Fish for tank what do you think

    #2 akindynos or blueline clownfish
    #1 cherub angelfish
    #1 goby of some sort
#1 damsel (taking it out of a nano cube and shutting that tank down)

If there is anything to add/ change/ and what filters do you reccomend? Anything else please commet!

Its possible the copper has leached into the silicon, I would make sure and do a copper test on the tank once filled. You can get products to help with the removal of the copper, but I doubt just scrubbing will do it.

Also that stock list looks like it would be too much for a 20, and I'm not sure any angel fish would be advised in there. Sorry but just what I see.

Why not keep it as a hospital tank/ Qt tank just in case? Never hurts to have one around, you never know.

IMO get a jawfish not a goby and keep the QT but that is me.
And take out the carbon cartride, add a clip on light and grow some cheato, but leave the bio wheel.

Cherub would be ok if you remove the clown, either or.
