    Pray to the fish gods......

It won't be easy, esp. if they are tank raised. But you can try taping a picture of an anemone hosting clowns on the outside of the tank near the nem. I've heard that can help, but it's not easy to get them to host, some clownfish just never do in our tanks.

You will never get a clownfish to host anything but a parasite. Its the anemone that hosts.;)

I'm trying to get my clowns to try out my RBTA right now...so far no success. But they did get pretty close to the nem and showed an interest when I fed them really close to it (the most interest they have shown).

Someone told me that you can use a laser pointer to guide them into the nem. I have NO idea if that is true or not. LOL

    Several threads actually.;);D

I have had alot of clowns in my time.Sometimes the clownfish will chose an anemone right away.Sometimes it takes a while. And sometimes they just will not. Have never been able to figure out just what triggers this need in there little brains. Did you try taping a picture of a grouper or other large predator to the tank? Try to find a photo of a predator normally found were the clown naturally lives so they can identify it better as such. I have never tried this but a friend of mine swears it works for him every time.;) IMO this will probably work better on a wild caught specimen.

Even better just throw on a bathing suit, hop in and chase em into it! lol jk. I really don't get it, I have a pair in my tank and they are hopeless. Finally got rid of the nem cause I was sick of dealing with it and they showed no interest.

When I had a really long clump of GHA, my clowns were obsessed. They never left it.

Now I get them a huge, beautiful nem, and well.....you get the picture. LOL

haha well that was awhile ago, unfortunately (but not really!), the GHA is long gone. So now they hang out behind the overflow at the very top of the tank...yeah I never see them and always forget they are in there. LOL
