    if it's glass just man up and use a razor blade. hold it even against the glass so one corner doesn't dig in, at about a 20-30º angle and it should scrape right off.

    Then get some rubbing alcohol to remove the solvent and wash out the tank real well.

    if you followed to contour of the glass side ways , you could use a razor blade. east-west instead of north-south. woman up girl !!! :)
