I have heard that many types of wrasses eat them, but have no first hand experience.

If you want to get rid of them try using panty hose. Put a piece of shrimp inside and they will get caught up in the hose. It works amazingly well. I have to disagree with some of the input on Bristle worms and I may just have been very unlucky but I am fairly certain they killed my clam (found inside clam shell. Went to bed all well woke up to goo coming out of clam and worms inside).

    Good luck.

I have had good luck with Arrow crabs, they love bristleworms, usually one worm in each claw.

Thats a great idea if he has a FOWLR tank. Arrow crabs will do more harm than good in a reef setting.

The two I have had did not mess with my xenia, guess I got lucky. Then you could try flatworm eXit, I heard from my old lfs ower that it kills bristleworms and is reef safe. He said he has used it in his personal tanks.
