That's interesting. My flight back from Australia was AWFUL compared to the flight out. I was told that this would happen by the friends that I had gone to visit (that Qantas' service was better on the trip OUT to Australia than it would be on the trip back). I should have listened!

Worst part of the trip back, besides the idiot in front of me who, even though he was sleeping, refused to turn his reading light off , was that one *^%$) who bought perfume on the plane and decided to hose herself down with it like a $10 a night floozy (did I really just say floozy?) immediately after the purchase. I could have strangled her but I was too high on sedatives at the time :D

We are flying JAL (Japan Airlines) from Chicago to Japan so I hope they do the same thing. Never had jet lag before I don't really care to have it again. Plus when I get home I have a 5 and 2 yr old jumping around wanting to play so I won't get much sleep unitl night time in the states. ;D

We leave on the 17th and I have to be back to install some robots on monday so they will give no time to rest. Work. work, work.....:p Kids won't help the rest either.
Called Mommy and she let me talk to my son and when she went to get the phone back he started crying and throwing a fit.....nice to know the little guy misses me, but Mommy doesn't like that....;)

"How to get your Ass Kicked + Bali"

Please be warned. Something I had to learn the hard way. :-[

Should be printed in bold letters on every travel brochure to Bali.

Just because an Indonesian policeman hits you, does not give you the right to hit him back!!!

To make a long story short...cost me an extended stay in hospital, jail, then in so-called Indonesian "mental hospital." :stars: (oh yes, not to mention a small fortune in US$)

A once in a lifetime travel experience I would not wish on anyone. --- without allot of help from family and friends I would still be there - or more likely, no longer among the living. (some here may have noticed my long absence from forum) :-/

Not something I really care to describe in detail on the web or really want to think about. But if ever meet any of you in person...will be happy to provide "gory" details. :( (Maybe will write up in "Blog" one day...)

Hey did you Aussies ever get Schapelle Corby back? --- I am absolutely certain she is innocent after 1st hand experience with corrupt Balinese police and court system.

Balinese people are the most gracious/hospitable people in the world, and so is their most beautiful & wonderful Island. Unfortunately I can never return there --- but would highly recommend to anyone liking good food, cheap lodging & great diving and meeting some of the most happy people on the face of the planet.

PS: People in the US State department are all good for nothing B@stards.! Never, never depend on them for any kind of assistance at all for any kind of serious problem while overseas.. [IMG]
