I want to add a blue neon goby to my tank for the cleaning service, but I dont know how to intoduce it. My female clownfish is around 3-4 inches, and my majestic angle is around 3 inches. I think they could both eat it, . Do they know the fish is a cleaner, and will leave it alone?? Mybe introduce it at night?? I put a cleaner shrimp, and two peperment shrimp in the tank yesterday, and my dottyback and female clown ate one of the pepperments!! But left the cleaner alone..... Would the same thing happen if I put a sand shifter goby in there?? Any info would be great,

From my experience it works good to add fish with the lights off. I think the fish will know that the neon is a friend.

Sounds like a good idea, I would also try to feed the fish first that way they will be all fat and lazy. maybe feed them right before the lights go out and then add the goby at night.
    Good luck Birchell!

I hope so. My devil dottyback chases everything I get, and killed a firegoby!!
But everything sleeps in the rocks at night, so ill do like you guys said and feed well, and turn off the lights. Wish me luck,

When I finnally put the neon in after acclimation, I put it near a rock with a hole in it that he took as a little hide-away. After a few days it started cleaning my hand when I was doing tank work and about a week or so later the coral beauty learned how to use his services. :)
