Everyday when i put a fresh piece of seaweed on my clip my Clown Tang eats at it for a bit then my Turbos attack it. What does everyone do to keep there snails off the seaweed for the tang or do you even feed seaweed?

Feed the tang smaller pieces more frequently.

The seaweed probably only gets attached after the tang loses interest.

Start with a postage-stamp sized piece or less and see how fast your tang devours it.

But in reality it's not any problem for your turbos to be eating that seaweed - it's good food for them!

Believe it or not, despite the fact that they are often considered "carnivores" - the nassarius snails in my tank seem to migrate like zombies to a seaweed clip when it's in the tank . . .

Rubberband it to a rock and throw it on the sandbed. Generally the crabs and snails don't get to it until later in the day for me and it's pointless by then because it's all gone. Granted I have four tangs and a huge rabbit so most of it's gone within an hour of going into the tank. Just about every fish in my tank enjoys it though. Whenever the rabbit comes out he makes a mess and all the fish crowd around to get his scraps, including my clowns!
