ive been around a bit but ive never had to level a tank they have all been on level ground. ive read about shimming the stand but i have a somewhat special issue.

    the facts:
    the tank is 210gallons
    the sump is a 120 4x2x2
the sump is on the lel end of the stand all the way to the left
my rear right corner is 3/8ths of an inch low
the sump water level is very high probably 90-100 gallons or so
    the tank is on carpet
the legs of the stand are attached to a sheet of plywood

my issue is that when i level the stand/dt the right side of the sump will be partially only supported by the plywood.

    what do i do?

you have to have support under the entire sole of the sump or you will have trouble. I wouldnt set it up unless you have the room to do it or change the configuration to make it fit. My setup is in the basement.....and i have carpet. I used a long 1/2'' thick piece of plywood that was cut to the exact footprint of my stand and sump. then leveled it.

my real question is how do i support the center of the stand. i have all the room i need to do the build. the tank is on a cement slab so the floor can support the system. if i raise 1 corner then there will be a gap under the ply wood on the right side of the sump

ill attach a pic of the stand mabe that will help

just somthing i found Leveling Mounts - Poly - ZORO tools and a couple of heavy duty washers and nuts welded together sunk in the stand might have to add a piece of wood to the center

bioreef dude thanks for the suggestion i have shims im just not sure how to support the bottom of the center/back/right of the bottom where the sump will sit.im afraid with 800ish lbs in the sump that any gap under the ply wood will cause sagging and issues down the line

Good luck - something I've seen people do is use exercise mats that you can purchase at sporting goods stores beneath tanks to close up gaps. They typically cut them to fit the entire size of the tank and the weight of the water compresses the mat and leaves support where it's needed. I don't know if it will work in your situation but might be something to look into.
