How to mount a 6ft lighting system without hanging it from the roof??

i did not see you were from Australia, and are running 220volt.

the person i know lives here in the us. he had 3x250watt icecap ballast pulling about 3amps each. he had same low wattage pumpslike you had
also a heater. on a 10amp circuit and his house caught on fire and the insurance would not cover it becasuse he overloaded the circuit. i think 220volt draws less amps just figure out what your pulling with every thing running on that line, here in the usa, using 120v and a 10amp circuit i would never attemp this the wire in the walls would over heat a eventually burn,

yeah thanks we are running 220-240 volts pretty much everywhere so much infact that any outlet that is 110v-120v has a big sign on it.
