I am looking to sell one of my tanks but want to keep my anemone and put it in my biocube. How would i remove it from the rock it's on? Any suggestions, tips and stories? Thanks!

take out the rock.. if its not on a rock(ie sand or glass) you can slip your fingers under the base and tickle/wiggle the anemone off.

    DO NOT YANK!

Massage the foot with an ice cube is a method I hear touted all the time.

are you sure you want to keep an anemone in a biocube?

If you must move it, take a razor to the foot and try to get inbetween the glass and the anemone with it.

Just rub an ice cube on the foot and he'll let go?

I know not to rip him off his rock ;)

I think he was concerned typically smaller tanks can go wrong alot faster and alot worse then a larger one. It's the nature of the beast.

What are your parameters? Lighting, flow, any corals in the tank? Anemone's belong in species only tanks, or back in the wild. Not trying to be ride at all, so don't take this as that. But people tend to think they are easy to care for(can thank Finding Omen for that...) and they really aren't. They can move and wreak havoc in a small reef.
