haha well umm start saving money for buckets. basically you just get both systems up and running and then move everything... the slower you transfer things, the better.

Here's how I transferred my 55 to my 120. Drained out the majority of the water out of the 55 so that I could move it to another spot in the room since my 120 was going in the spot of the 55 and put the water back into the 55.

Set up my 120 and filled with new water. Tank was up and running and let it run for about 4 days to make sure no issues with connections or leakage. After that added in sand and a couple pounds of live rock. Over the next month added more live rock from old tank and at end of first month added more sand. At the end of the first month added my clown fish and damsel to the new tank with a couple of my heartier corals.

After about 1 1/2 to 2 months of new tank running moved over the rest of the rock and the rest of my fish from my old tank. At the end of 2 months added more sand. At this point everything was moved over, I did it over a 2 month period. Not sure if it was done right but that's how I did it.
