How to move feather duster? Maybe

    So I have this lil guy under neath the rock in the middle! The hole one of them is in is pretty deep! Can I get him out and move him or will I prob butcher it?

    I would not try to move it just let it be and if it starts to look bad try to move it then

    Not much way of moving one that's in a rock. You could rearrange the rock so the featherduster is on top, though.

    +1, Great idea on the rearranging, but definitely don't try and move it out of a hole. I have bought 2 so far, one that came with a rock, and one just in the tube. The one with just tube got messed with so much by everything in the tank (turbos, crabs, and star) that even after I threw everything into the sump to give him space, I still lost it (due to disturbance). But, the one with the rock lost his whole tube (from my emerald getting hungry) and he recovered just fine. Those guys are supposed to pretty much stay in the same place their whole lives. If they actually get to a stress level and have to leave that place, it's most likely too late anyways. If it's building the tube wall, and it still has it's head attached, leave it alone. I have moved the rock with mine several times, and it's done just fine. I hope this helps.

    done deal! flipped it! hated to do it, my bicolor dottyback called that little cave his home, but he'll find another! thx for the help!
