I am planning to put in 2 ATI Blue Plus, 1 ATI Purple Plus, 1 ATI Aquablue Special and 2 actinics in my Tek Elite 48" 6X54 fixture.
How do you actually arrange the bulbs in the fixture?
Does this sound like a good combination?

    TIA

If I had a 6-bulb here is what I'd do (front to back):

    ATI AquaBlue Special
    ATI Blue +
    ATI Purple +
    ATI AquaBlue Special
    ATI Blue +
    ATI AquaBlue Speicial

So you would leave out the actinics?

Blue + is your actinics, just a very high quality/PAR bulb so absolutely replace your actinics with ATI bulbs for the best performance out of your fixture.

I have a Coralife Lunar Aqualife on the tank now (which is what I'm replacing with the Tek). It came with an 10000k and actinic 03. This color of the tank is pretty good but not very bright.

Will the new set of bulbs be more of a blue color?

I have now, softies, torch, zoos, leather, button , bubble, and torch.
I would like to add sps and lps and clams. Will that bulb configuration be good for that choice?

Sorry I seem so lost on this bulb thing but it is quite new to me. It seems the more I read about Kelvin, PAR, Luminance, etc etc the more confused I get :/

Don't feel bad, I do too. I just try to keep it simple:

Lumens is the power of the light.
PAR is the photosynthetic wave length measured in nanometers or one billionth of a meter (nm).
Kelvin is the color/temperature of the light. Actinics are high color/temperature blue light.

Are sure there are more technical answers.

    Blue Plus
    Aquablue Special
    Blue Plus
    Purple Plus
    Actinic

You don't need that many high PAR bulbs, you will just fry your corals IME.
