Anyone know of any good tricks to hold internal overflow boxes in place while the silicone sets up?

I'm going to glue mine in tonight or tomorrow night and didn't know the best way to hold them in place for the 24 hours it takes the silicone to dry...

If i were to try any thing , you could take a board roughly ( to hold with,"shorter than the tank is wide" ) then use a "rubber door stop" or a piece of soft wood just like it (wedge) .
And or some soft cloth rags/towles round the ends.
I beleive CAUTION is in order here, i would use no more than a half pound or less of pressure when doing it , ( don't want to bust the tank wide open ).
It shouldint need all that much time to harden up , say a hour or so then
you can put a real nice bead of sealent down it again with your finger,
(wiping the excess away/trimming with a sharp razor blade to make a neat job of it ).

Duct tape. cut some wood blocks to hold it up vertically then just use tape (even painters low tack tape works)

That's what I was going to use but didn't want to just throw out the duct tape idea. Hey on a brighter note I heard Otty didn't get to come see you...:-[

Tape it what I always used , Simple put the boxes in place using a marker trace the line for the silicone then put a bead all along the marker line set box in place with your finger dipped in some liquid dish soap mixed with enough water to make it a bit less thick then the finger run along the outside where to box meets the glass to smooth the seal along the sides and the bottom .. Keep finger wet with the soapy water Then tape it then do the soap finer inside Thats how I always install them.. Nuff said by me.
