how to setup the sump?

so i have a 20g sump, a euroreef skimmer, a return pump and a few other parts, but i dont really get how they all go together. i know how a sump works. but there are someparts that just dont seem to go together. to me anyways

is there a place with pictures or diagrams or this? something without pvc fittings for a non drilled tank?

what size is the DT that this sump is underneath? Also found this pic on a thread when I was looking for ideas on how to build a sump for my 55 and it will be the plan I follow with a few minor adjustments

 

my DT will be a 72g bowfront and thanks for the picture
its just that some components dont seem to fit together for the overflow box part
any pictures for that?

 

can you post a pic of the parts you have, then maybe we can identify what fits where for you.

 

What type of overflow box do you have?

i believe the black box with the slots is the over flow box!

and the black box has 3 holes in the back, does it only hold up with suction cups??

 

That black box is a bubble trap for the coral life protein skimmer. It's water out flow tube goes in there to help keep micro bubbles from entering the dt. The clear box is your over flow box for your dt.

 

The box with all the slits in it connects to the clear box. Its the one that will go inside of your dt and the one with the tube goes in the back of your tank.
