I've been dreaming for a last 8 month for Coraline Algae to appear on my tank walls, but I think I hate it now, it's grow everywhere! I'm tired to scratch the tank with my finger nail to remove this damn coralline! Is there any way to slow it dowth? any sea urchins? Help! I'd rather have GHA outbreak, coraline driving me nuts! :-/

to much calcium supplements can cause this growth, there fore I use kents 2 part, as I too dislike the look- to me it makes any aquarium over grown and crowded, not to menton- it ruins your tank.

Scrape away the coralline spots that are there with a scraper or razor. Then clean the glass every 2 or 3 days with a mag float. It takes a little time for coralline spots to take hold. If you clean the glass regularly the coralline doesn't have a chance to gain a foot hold.

I only allow it on the back pannel of my tank. I use a metal scraper as mentioned for the other 3 sides of my tank. Keep up with a mag float and you can keep up with for the most part. I just hit the front of my tank today for pain in butt spots.
