How can i suspend my CADLIGHT® lighting fixture from the ceiling? In other words, what kit can i buy to make a light fixture from not made to suspend to able to suspend. Is there any custom kits for this? like that requires drilling the fixture too? any other ideas on how to suspend my fixture above my tank?

i was looking at these 2 things but what do i know... just browsing...

    Giesemann Reflexx Adjustable Suspension Kit

    Sunlight Supply Sun Lift (pair)

edit: ok so apparently "giesemann" is a light brand and so is "sunlight supply" (but i already knew the sunlight supply one) so i cant use either of those. There has to be a 'retro fit' kit for mounting lights.. anyone?

Why hang it? One of the coolest things about your cadlight is the light setup.

i actually have a scientific explanation for that :D when my tank has those lights on it with the things that attach to the glass it makes it all look attached which makes the tank look taller than it is wide. and i dont like that. I also wanted to suspend them higher than default because i like the open look. For example, i put my cycling light on the tank and i just love the open, wide look rather than with the lights on the default way.

It would look nice without the legs but you might want to keep it about the same distance from water level,or somewhere close so you dont lose intensity.Whats the distance from ceiling to top of your tank?
