both these species can be fed using light alone IME

lighting 4 x T5s or even T8s would be great for these 2 species
these corals do well under PC lighting also IME

They dont place demand on Calcium, Magnesium or Alk - so no need to dose any of those
water changes weekly or fortnightly should suffice IME

Test - PH , Phosphate, Nitrates - most important with soft corals (have ammonia and Nitrite on hand in case things dont look right)

    SG 1.024 - 1.025 is OK

flow - neither likes to much turbulance - shrooms even less so
zoanthids can take moderate flow, shrooms dont like to be ruffled to much , it prevents them expanding for fear of being ripped away from the rocks

    thanks steve
    would 2 t8s be enough??

also how do i indroduce them to the tank??

where is the best place to sit them in the tank? top middle or bottom?
i have my rock up quite high.

about the flow atm i have 2 powerheads both facing the back wall
1 higher than the other near the surface and the other lower in the water
they are both koralia model 2 & 3.
    should i take 1 out?
    how should i direct them?

2 T8s - might not give you the best expansion IMO 4 would be better
kept many soft corals under 4 x T8s 2 10K and 2 actinic and they did very well

    under 2 x T8s placement upper 3rd would help
under 4 x T8s they are fine at the very bottom IME

That does not sound like to much flow to me, may have to mess about with direction - as long as neither are pointed directly at them from close range you should be OK

yeah been lokking at the diffrent types of corals.
i only want to keep a few easy to care for corals like the zoan and mushroom tho.

but down the line once i have the 4 x t8s and the sg up from .023 which is what its at now to .024-.025 can i add the some of these corals or do they have to go in a tank at a certain time?

also do corals add to the bioload??

You can use superglue or aquastick to attach to rocks where you want them. As far as acclimation. . I just float them in the bag on top of the water for a little while then put them in.
Really you should quarantine all fish and corals for a while to observe for unwanted pest but I've never had a quarantine tank so I just took my chances. You may want to look into a product called CoralRX or other coral dips to kill any pest that may be hijacking.
