how to tell the sex of fish?

so does anyone know how to tell the sex of a fish ?

 

It varies from species to species. Some are very obvious, some are impossible to tell visually.

They can change sex, or be unsexed, Do you have a pair?

 

not yet i was thinking of breeding them

 

The larger of the pair will become dominant and be the female. That's the quick and easy version, if you wanna breed them I suggest lots of research. You'll need separate systems to hatch and raise the fry, etc.. I believe there are a few people on here that have had success. Try doing a search and you'll find their threads.
