I recently added several test to my arsenal which we purchased at my local LFS:

    API Ca2+ test kit
My first question the API test instructions state to add #2 chemical until it turns blue thus far i have added 20 drops and it is still pink do i keep adding until blue color?

Red Sea test lab Alk Pro

My second question is in the Red Sea test lab Alk Pro kit which includes Alk,pH there are no clear instructions as to how to properly test for the Alk which is weird no mention of amount of drops but it does contains syringe which i cant use since it is a dropper. I contacted Red Sea which shipped me more test tubes and a pamphlet on reef care program:furious3:
    Anyone use this exact test?

TY Brother appreciate the getter -done...LOL

My Red Sea test kit did not provide a ppm card to compare color it only contains a start color reference and end or overdose color. In addition do i continue to add drops until end color is reached?

Yes, keep adding till it turns from pink to purple and finally to dark purple/blue. Count the drops and multiply the total by 20.
