I have a Damsel that I need to get out of the tank. He is very mean. Anytime I add new fish he will terrorize them to the death no matter the size. I have lots of rock work and a few corals that I don't want to move around. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the trap no fish yet. I think he knows what I am up too. However, there are a bunch of little worms in it. They are really small. I would imagine that they are good and there to keep the detritus under control right?

Take a 20oz bottle and cut the top off, then cut the mouth part off that you drink out of, then invert it and stick it inside the bottle (I had to tape mine so it would stay in place), put some food it in and be patient.

I waited hours to catch my sixline and no luck, although he would go close to the hole he wouldn't go in. I finally cut the mouth part off and two minutes later he was in and I won. Here's a pic...

In this pic the mouth piece is still on there as you can see...

AquaMedic Fish Trap: Premium Aquatics is what I use and it works great. Just put it in the tank for them to get used to and dont feed for a couple days and they will do anything for food when they are hungry.

My Damsel did the same thing. Are you planning on addding any more fish? After several fish were added to my tank the Damsel calmed down and is now a good fish. It took a while.

The damsel has been there for four years and caused a few losses along with his gangster buddy the lemon peel angel. It's like they are representing their hood when new fish are added. Some make it some don't. My maroon clown was beat down for the first two weeks and then he was ok. They still chase him around and the maroon has been there now for over 3 months. They both gotta go in my opinion. Once they are gone then I plan on adding some new peaceful fish, and more coral.
