Never seen that before. What's the width of the clips?

Not to mention I like to keep a clean modern look. Fans make that a bummer

There are 2, 3, 4 fan and larger options as well. The width of the clip is 1/2".

I just seen the 2 fan option. It looks pretty legit. I'll probably order it tomorrow.

Lots of great advice on this thread. :)

FWIW- In the wild where sea temps are nearly constant, corals will start to bleach in just a few days with a sustained increase of only 2F; a sudden increase of 6F is almost instantly lethal, so yes, you most likely have more than one issue at play, here.

My 150 reef has been running about 8 years. EVERY summer I had issued with heat. This year I added a power head and tilted it upward a little so that the water is rough and choppy on the top. No more heat issues. My tank isnt covered either.

Since I have had my Reef Angel logging temp, I've noticed big swings going up to 84 a couple times. I am considering the Nano Chiller by 3reef sponsor Chill Solutions. I also will be looking at chiller deals at MACNA this weekend. It doesn't happen often but I need to get the swings under control.

My temp stays at a constant 77 degrees with a chiller. Corals seem to love that temp.
