How we see ourselfs in this hobby!

Thats funny, my neighbors called the cops on me a couple years ago because they thought I was growing weed in my fish room. The cops came over and I showed them what the light was they were seeing. We all laughed about it. Didnt take long to get black out curtains put up after that.

 

I've had multiple neighbors think the same. I was running an open top system at the time, and light spillage was terrible. Now, with my system fully enclosed, I don't have any spillage into the windows anymore. I have gone outside and looked, and it looks like any standard light in the house (other than the 14K look)...maybe I should switch all my PAR 38's in my cans to 14K to match...hmmm.

I love when I go to local reef club members houses to pick up frags. If it's the first time I'm going, I always hope it's at night. Like a beacon saying "This house is the right one!"
