Try a Huma Huma and either a blue jaw or a saragassum

well im not really a fan of the blue jaw or the saragassum. would the niger work because on live aquaria it says they get 1ft. so you agree a clown would be too big?

Let me put it to you this way. I have a 210 gallon tank and I've had a Sohol Tang and African Hippo Tang for one year and they have surprised me and doubled in size. They will have to be caught somehow in one or maybe two years as they will outgrow their surroundings. It's just not humane nor in God's best interest to cramp their area. This will be an emotional moment for me.:(

You have a 125 gal tank. What do you want me to say except that no matter what trigger fish you get you will probably end up moving him out or like I did and thats move to a bigger tank but eventually in most cases they outgrow the tank. It's the tough part of this hobby. If you are ready to do so then by all means get your feet wet.

I've been down that FOWLR road with a 150 gal tank. Back then they didn't have the medications that are available today and with the poop these big fish made the water parameters were a nightmare to keep right. I remember buying a baby maroon snapper that was less than 2" long and within a year it grew to 7" and I gave him back to the store. I'm just trying to give advice that's all. You could have a wonderful selection of smaller fish and with shrimp, snails and hermit crabs and recreate the same ecosystem that's found in the ocean. You decide for yourself.

That is a tough question. Send me a private message with specifics because I'm a little confused as to what you want.

Sorry that I got the size of your tank wrong. With 120g you could get a Humu Picasso Triggerfish, a Clown Triggerfish, a Humu Rectangle Triggerfish, a Red Tail Triggerfish ... just up to you and depending on what else goes into the tank.

I used to have 2 Triggers and puffers together. They all got along fine but do your research about their needs.
