I think this is for you to read up on. Google each fish and check it's disposition, compatibility, average length and diet. I say diet because I've found it's a pain in the butt to try and get certain fish to eat certain foods. IMO. Keep looking at the different types of triggers and angels and tangs etc. Talk to people in the fish store, ask them leading questions like what size tank do you have and is it a fowlr. Pick everybodies brain until you feel convinced that you will be happy with your choice. I'll keep posted but I think it's time for you to enlighten us.

I get what your saying but i just want to get this list to more of a manageable size and then finalize it with my LFS. Basically if anyone can tell me what of the fish above would work for a 120 gallon tank thats 60x18x25. Thanks

You will have a hard time keeping any smaller fish as they will become food to the predators. Have you ever seen Jaws? It's not quite that radical but it's the only thing I could think of to use an example.

    -[STRIKE]Humu Trigger[/STRIKE]
-Niger or Humu Trigger [STRIKE]Clown trigger [/STRIKE] (very big and aggressive), maybe bursa (can't keep more than one of these)
    -Dogface Puffer
    -Vol. Lion
    -[STRIKE]Miniatus Grooper[/STRIKE] too big
    -Snowflake eel
    -[STRIKE]Hippo Tang[/STRIKE] gets too big
    -[STRIKE]Dragon Wrasse[/STRIKE] probably too big
    -[STRIKE]Emperor Angel[/STRIKE] gets too big

If this is still going to be just a fish only; How about a Pinkface Wrasse (Thalassoma quinquevittatum), Melanurus wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus), a Bluehead Wrasse (Thalassoma bifasciatum).

A smaller Acanthurus or Zebrasoma tang, like a yellow tang or a convict tang.

Also, what about a soldierfish (Pristigenys serrula) or the Redstripe Hogfish (Bodianus sepiacaudus)?

Hey Adam... glad that others responded and gave you some advice but at the end of the day YOU have to make the decision and research. Nobody can make that decision for you but I am happy that others also told you that some of the fish you have on your wishlist will outgrow the size of your tank.
I would honestly recommend for you to do your research on each species and then make up your mind.... and after all.... you have to take your time and cannot add all of them at once. Building and establishing a saltwater tank is a process and for me that's the fun part. So, for now concentrate on cycling your tank and by then end of the cycle ... depends how long... I let mine cycle for 5 months, just to make sure that all water parameters are stable.... THEN start introducing livestock. Research which ones are less aggresssive and add them first... but again only 2 or so at a time, then wait a month and if all is good add another one.
    Just my opinion.

I think that any one of those three will work, either the Niger or Humma I would recommend.

Personally, I would not keep a lion, it really limits your fish choice down the line.
