Greetings all. Been keeping reef tanks for almost 20 years now, decided it was time to see if I had any advice to offer (however wrong it may be, LOL) when I could. Also I always have questions, as should all experienced reefers! Anyway, just set up a couple of reef tanks after returning from Iraq and Afgan. Looks like I will finally be able to settle down for a bit (HATE HATE HATE moving big tanks!). So I think I will just lurke a bit for now (famous last words).
    So greetings and cheers,
    Steve

P.S. Will get around to setting up avatar, pic, etc sometime.

For those of you joining us that are new to the hobby - the best piece of advice you'll get around here as a saltwater newbie is 3Reef's slogan
    "Go slow, let it grow."
And for those experianced hobbyists joining us - it's still good advice :p
good luck and post pics soon :)

From Richmond, VA. Grew up here, haven't been back in 15 years. Man has it grown. Of course my favorite fish store is still around! Posted couple of pics on show off your tank. Yes, little bit crowded, but beleive it or not much growth has occured over the first few months. And also am planning to move much to new tanks (used to run at least 4-5 tanks at a time). Whenever I upgraded to a larger tank I just kinda kept the old one, LOL.
    Cheers,
    Steve
