Howdy yall.

I'm coming back to saltwater after many years of life interfering and getting in the way. Got my first tank in 1971. I first got into SW in the late 80's. I closed my SW shop in 2001 9/11 was tough on business. My last reef tank was a 180 built in it went with my house in 05. I have been doing fresh water African cichlids and planted tanks for the last 3 years right now 7 tanks running from a 110 to a 5 gal.
Yes I am an aquarium addict suffering from multiple tank syndrome. The new system will be a 40 breeder. I have already built the stand, DIY LEDs with a Typhon controller and have a refugium sump. Still have to drill the tank and build the over flow. I'm going to try the bean system people seem to be having great success with it. If anyone know where I can get a smoking deal on a mag drive 9.5 or similar return pump please let me know.
I am looking forward to learning and sharing with you all. It's great being back to saltwater so much new to learn.

 

Welcome to 3reef saltwater old timer!!!!! The 40 gal breeders are great tanks is going to be my next tank.
