hows it lookin?

so i started a small little DIY project for my new upcoming 30 gallon upgrade ;D i cant wait! so i thought id have a place for all my stuff lol and maybe a little fuge. what do u guys think so far, im putting my skimmer in the left portion maybe a small section for cheato and a deep sand bed in the next small section and than my return in the last part. what do u guys use for a deep sand bed in a fuge? and what are some good things to go in there?

 

Looks good. Here is a pic of mine to give you an idea. I have a 4-5" SB with LR rubble,chaeto and capulara.

 

no bubble trap? is it really necessary?

 

Here is a little better picture. Mine doesnt really have a typical bubble trap. but it works the same way. this is a picture of when I was setting up my new tank.
