    I'd never run a SW tank without it. GAC removes dissolved organic and inorganic impurities as well as toxins released by corals.

    Yes I am using carbon. Iv got the juwel tank which houses 5 sponges in the filter box..one of them is carbon which I replace every month. I have now lost the other branch on my torch and have taken out the leather to see how it goes. Zoos are growing like mad
