Sprint offers the best coverage near me, services, and a great selection of phones. No other provider can touch Sprint on monthly plans. As long as they have good coverage near you, go for it. I've been with Sprint for over 10 years...never had a problem.

I'm glad to hear the negative Apple news :D I'm the IT manager for a company and I despise it for everyday use, of course I'm a little more advanced than they are intended.

Another thing, check your 4G coverage in your area. I know it was slow starting off but just make sure 4G is even a possibility. With a 23% savings monthly, that's pretty hard and you actually have a good ROI in a year. I say go for it then :)

I own the evo and honestly its a good phone but I cannot wait to get rid of it for somthing better

Battery life is horrible compared to the iPhone or anything not made by HTC. I'm looking at upgrading to the xperia play from Sony "psp phone" but I'm sure that will have problems too

I have the original MyTouch and the battery life still works almost two days with moderate use. That Evo is a life sucker it sounds like. The next gen utilize multiple cores which will boost battery about 30% respectively. I highly recommend :)

my cousin has a evo that he has rooted and in doing this he can be on the phone all day long and he doesnt drain the battery, literally. It takes roughly 4 days for the phone to die.

He also overclocked the processor so the phone is extremely fast. If you get one I would definitely root it!

My evo lasts a day with normal usage. Its really wether you want a physical keyboard or not. The Epic 4G has nearly the same specs with a physical keyboard. Go for it!

I have had my evo for quite a bit now and love it. Had an iPhone before and there really is no comparison, the evo absolutely walks all over it, and even more so, Sprint absolutely walks all over AT&T. Some complain about battery life but if your used to high end phones it really isn't bad at all I actually get more use time from this then the iPhone. Just slightly but I do feel its a little more. Sprint is adding a lot more 4G early next month and chances are you'll be getting it then unless you REALLY live in the boonies. The only way I would consider an iPhone is to now go through Verizon but even then the evo is still a much better phone.
