About two weeks ago, I found out that the LFS by my office was having a huge sale. I currently have a 46 gallon bow that I got along with a stand for $50.00 on Craigslist. There are a ton of scratches on the glass, the silacone is chipping off on the inside, and there is no overflow built in, so I have to use an ugly overflow box. Ive been wanting to upgrade forever, but wife said that I cant go any bigger than 36" becasue of lack of exra space in our living room to fit a 48" tank. So after looking around, I discovered that 65 gall tanks are 36" wide 24" high and 19" deep. This is alot of extra space plus an exra 20 gallons of water! So I called my LFS and found out they were having a sale on all Oceanic tanks. HALF OFF! I quickly purchased a new light fixture to replace my 36" USA Orbit with stronger lighting for the new tank I would get, and I replaced it with a USA Nova Extreme 6 bulb T5 HO lighting system. I ordered my new 65 gall tank last tue that is Reef Ready, got the Versatop, Background, Overflow Kit, and New Stand, and all i paid was 465.00 total! This is a huge discount, not to mention I was able to sell my old light plus an unused fuge and a laptop and make almost enough to cover my upgrade! Now I just have to be patient and wait till the tank comes in on tuesday! I cant wait!

ya, that's the dimensions of one of the tanks my stand is going to have eventually, very nice amount of space for the water volume.

3'x2' sounds like a really nice size, lot of aquascaping options there!
