    ha, thats funny. i was just googleing same stuff. if you havent seen it, there is some tank in the netherlands thats was awesome. kind of a semi circle thing

    very cool. its crazy that the sand gets replaced every few weeks. i wonder how the tank is doing now

    I thought it said 10,000 gallons per week. I don't think my house has enough water pressure to make that much water per week.

    Good thing it's a freshwater tank :) You can clearly see scats, arowanas, and piranhas schooling in the 50,000 one, a catfish, a gigantic knifefish, and what looks to be a full-grown Dario Botia Loach in the 15,000.

    Still a heck of a lot of water, though.

    EDIT: I also just crunched the numbers.....the 50,000 gallon thank is bigger than my room.

    I don't see the attraction. The tanks look blah and the fish are ugly IMO. Not my style.
