niger triggers in my experience have been the most friendly, picasso's are kind of 50/50 either really good with others, or really bad with others, i.e. eats them as soon as he gets the chance.

Undulated still takes the cake on being the meanest SOB I've ever dealt with

obviously the undulated and clown and queen triggers sre the meanest, but they are usually treated as such, where as nigers and humas arent. my nigers are MEAN as heck, well they can be very mean, and my old huma would try and kill any other fish i added to the tank, my friend had a niger kill his clown, blueline and a pair of blue throats, it even left some scars on his undulated!!!!! seriously, all of them dead from one angry niger. the only fish to live with it peacefully was the huma that he got from me!!!

    I know it's been awhile since I've been on here, but I had a Humma-Humma once...Once.

He completely took over the tank, two of my hermit crabs disappeared, and he thrashed the tank. Knocked over rocks, dug deep holes in my substrate...generally destructive.

When I finally had enough and needed to remove him, I ended up chasing him around my tank until he was exhausted.

Cool to look at, but you have to have a tank for one.

Niger's and Huma-Huma 's are some BAD boys of the lot in the trigger family .

the only one's i might even consider is a blue jaw or a sargasm, and the sargasm is EXPENSIVE !
the blue jaw is readly availible in most SW LFS places.
and i think theres a guy who's advertising on here selling the more expensive ones if ya wanna fork up the dough.

the safest trigger is the black durgeon trigger, easily one of the nicest and most peaceful of them all, and gorgeous too. my friend has two in his 220 reef tank with no problems at all!!!

Well I have had the Humu for almost a month now and no problems so far. He eats everything except the hermit crabs and shrimp I have in there which is weird because I bought them for him to eat. I have added some clowns and more rock and he is mean only when the new fish are in the bag, then when they get in the tank he is really nice and leaves everyone alone. I did get bit by him the other day and when I had my hand in there I was scared that he would bit me but it didn't hurt but I think thats because he is just a baby.
