I just hung my LED's lights the other day. Wow what a difference they make. I love seeing the shimmer in the water with these lights. They came with the hanging setups also. They took about a week to recieve also. Which is not bad at all.I have them 12" above the tank at the moment and plan on dropping them down to 8" once everything gets used to the light. I went from a PC light with old lights to this, so you can see why im lovin it.

Im not going to say who there from b/c I dont think there a sponser on here.

The jug in the tank was just put in there yesterday, b/c I bought new clowns and they were getting attacked by the othere fish. Had to save them :)

Looking good,congrats..but remember these will be sooooo much more intense than the PC bulbs so do short photo periods for a while and slowly build it up..

    No... they are not.

Thanks guys....Slow is the key with all of this stuff;D Im in the middle of setting up my sump today. Getting rid of the fx5 very soon all though it is doing a very good job for the past couple of months. Im surprised I even had little pieces of coraline growing on some of the rock with the setup I had:cheesy:

Looks good, I'm guessing these are evolution lights, without optics though? Without optics the spread is pretty wide, and hanging 12", you are probably getting as much light on the walls as in the tank. you may want to lower them a bit, but otherwise looks great; congrats!

wow, it hurt my eyes just to look at the pics lol. Those are bright. How are your corals reacting the much more intense light? I would watch for bleaching at first lol. Nice addition though. Congrats.

Thanks guys....The lights are a 2 to 1 ratio (blue to white) and are 2w per light. I really like the look they give the tank, but they do shine on the floor in the front of the tank as of now. I will lower them and see how they do in a few. Im about the drill my tank for a sumo this weekend and then will set everything back up.

because they are a chinese brand..I seen them at my LFS for $200ish and on ebay for about $165. other than not knowning what their PAR is and that they don't dim (they do have an ON/OFF switch for Blue/White lights) they are nice lights, Bright, good coloring (to my eye that is) and built decent too.

Honestly what everyone is trying to say is that nobody will care what country they come from. We are all about helping other people here find good prices on products. It doesn't matter where they are made or where you bought them from. It is alright to post what company made the lights. Just my .02 cents worth anyways.
