    This is what I done. I have lost power about 5 times already this year so I took care of that.

    Sorry for your loss but it is a great reminder to people that it can and will happen some day so you had better plan on it.

    I am in Harlingen...
    We took the brunt of the storm other than South Padre Island.
    We got 22 inches of rain...
    My power was out for 25 hours... others still don't have it back on.
    Thanks for the condolences...
    I'm stocking the house with things that don't run on power to keep the tank and live stock alive and well...
    Hoping others learn from my misfortune as well...
    This forum is a really powerful tool.
